Our Dairy Team (dairyteam@nzx.com) at NZX looks at the domestic and international movements of the dairy industry. Our work involves understanding not only global supply, production, processing, and exports, but also to look at input costs such as brent crude oil and fertilisers, as well as financial controls including inflation, interest rates, FX, etc.
Cristina Alvarado
Head of Dairy Insights
Cristina leads the Dairy Data & Insights team at NZX. Drawing on more than two decades of global experience, she champions data-driven insight and specialises in the dairy industry through deep analysis, strategic development, and international market engagement. She has presented at major industry events, including the SGX-NZX Global Dairy Seminar. A polyglot fluent in more than five languages, Cristina holds a BA & LLB (Universidad Metropolitana) and a Master in International Business (Hons) (University of Auckland).
Rosalind Crickett
Dairy Analyst
Rosalind has been part of the NZX Dairy Insights team since 2023. Here she has been working across analysis and insights reporting on both the farming sector and macro industry level. Previously she held analyst roles in corporate governance advisory, specialising in director recruitment, and Board and executive evaluations. Rosalind has a BMS with majors in Agribusiness and Strategic Management from the University of Waikato.
Lewis Hoggard
Markets Analyst
Lewis is our Markets Analyst and member of the Dairy Insights team at NZX since 2023. He has a BCom from the University of Auckland with majors in Finance and Economics, thus his focus is on the economic ramifications of events in the dairy sector, with the purpose of providing farmers and other stakeholders in the industry with relevant data insights.
